Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard then city centre Indian restaurant Asha's has lifted the lid on his latest order. The eatery uploaded a picture of the Villa boss on Twitter, letting followers know that he'd visited and ordered two portions of one of their popular dishes. Asha's, which has been visited in recent years by stars including Tom Cruise and Ed Sheeran, uploaded a photo of the Liverpudlian outside the restaurant to their social media accounts.
According to bosses, the 41-year-old ordered two servings of the Prawn Shan E Nisha. That particular dish comprises king prawns marinated in yoghurt, cheese and a touch of cardamom and is priced at £24. 75 a portion.

If you're wondering which of our dishes Steven recommends, he enjoyed our Prawn Shan E Nisha so much that he ordered it twice!"When Tom Cruise visited Asha's, he also ended up ordering the same dish twice, hoovering up two portions of chicken tikka. Ed Sheeran, on the other hand, said that Asha's was his 'favourite of all', though his go-to order hasn't been revealed. Nouman Farooqui, general manager at Asha's, says that while it's a boost for staff to see celebrities come through the door to sample the restaurant's food, status doesn't impact the level of service.
He said: "Indian cuisine is so popular and everyone wants a nice curry in a relaxing restaurant. We offer that and we've established ourselves over the last 15 years. "For us, every guest who dines is treated like a celebrity.
