Actress Stephanie Waring, who announced back in April that she was one of the actors leaving Hollyoaks after producers decided to reduce the number of cast members, has now revealed she is making a career change. The 46 year old actress who played Cindy on the soap for almost three decades took to Instagram to tell her fans that she is joining the wellness industry and will be training at the Jay Shetty Life Coaching school.
In her post she said: “I love my job, I love my career, the profession I've been in since I was 18-years-old. I'm not leaving it, just let me say that, I'm not leaving it, I'm gonna carry on acting but I have other passions that I want to pursue.” "So for about a month now, I have been studying to enter a new career, a new field in the wellness industry,” she added.
"I have been accepted and enrolled into the Jay Shetty Certification Life Coaching school and honestly, it's changed my life. It is changing my life and it's something that I've wanted to do for a couple of years now but because I've been so busy working on Hollyoaks, I've not even thought that I could even do it.” "So this is what I'm doing, it's incredible and I hope that I can help Jay change a billion lives.
If I'm just a little tiny part of it, I want to be on that journey. I hope you all follow me on that journey." Fans were quick to show their support, with one writing: “Congratulations definitely miss you on Hollyoaks,” while another added: “Amazing news.
Those doors will continue to open.
Congratulations.” A third wrote: “That’s amazing news. Well done absolutely going to miss you in Hollyoaks, love how much Cindy has grown the last few years, you are absolutely amazing.” Stephanie’s former co star Gary Lucy also sent his best
