Steph McGovern has confirmed she is returning to TV five months after her daytime chat show Steph’s Packed Lunch was axed by Channel 4. She recently posted a selfie to Instagram showing her in a car with her stylist on the way to her latest TV appearance.
In the caption she wrote: “‘Let’s get a nice picture of us on our way to Have I Got News For You’ she says… Patrick,” followed by a tongue emoji to mimic the pose Patrick Bartley was making. One fan commented: “You two – cheeky and gorgeous in equal measure,” while another wrote: “I think you should be the permanent host it’s always a good one when you’re on.” There were some celebrity commenters too, with Carol Vorderman adding “Lols” and a laughing emoji and Dragons' Den star Sara Davies noting: “Makeup looks FABULOUS here,” referring to Steph’s glamorous look.
Another photo showed Steph in the makeup chair getting ready. Yorkshire-born Steph has been a panellist and also guest hosted Have I Got News For You eight times before this most recent recording.
