With just a couple of days to go until Christmas Day, now is the time to start your last-minute pre-Christmas pamper. For some that includes a quick at-home manicure or squeezing in an eyebrow appointment, and for others that means giving your hair a bit of a revamp ready for the festive fun, and it seems Stacey Dooley falls firmly into the latter camp.
Stacey recently shared how she gives her hair a super quick refresh at home, and it turns out her gorgeous auburn locks are courtesy of an at-home hair dye that just about anyone can get their hands on. Although the TV presenter and journalist shared a video of her using the dye on her Instagram earlier this month, it’s the perfect way to give your tresses a last-minute revamp ready for Christmas.
Stacey captioned her video: “Gaaaaaaaaang! Life is one MILLY MILES per hour atm. Shout to the goodies at my gorgeous @clairol_uk_ire fam for rolling with my CHAOS.
Obvs using my v own shade Nice ‘n Easy 8WR Golden Auburn”, and demonstrated how quick and easy it was to create her natural-looking colour. To start with, Stacey applies the Clairol Nice‘n’Easy 8WR Golden Auburn, £7.99 here, along her parting, before using her hands (with gloves on, of course!), to spread the creamy formula into her hair.
After evenly covering her hair in the dye, Stacey leaves it on while bathing her daughter Minnie, then rinses out the dye and styles it before showing off the much more vibrant, rich copper shade that has come to be the presenter’s signature hair colour. Clairol Nice’n’Easy released Stacey’s exact shade for everyone to use, with the hue available at Superdrug, as well as plenty of local supermarkets including Sainsbury and Tesco, so you can pick up a box while you’re grabbing those
