Maya Jama has announced she has quit her job at BBC Radio 1 and has already hosted her final ever show.The in-demand presenter shared the news on her Instagram, explaining that she had chosen not to renew her contract to focus on other commitments. Maya, 25, has worked for Radio 1 since joining the team in 2018, and the news of her departure comes after she was linked to the Strictly Come Dancing line-up for the 2020 series.
