South Carolina Woman Found Dead In Department Store Bathroom FOUR Days Later

A man using drugs who hadn't slept in days shot and killed five people in a South Carolina home where people gathered to get high, a sheriff said Tuesday. James Douglas Drayton, 24, was arrested on Monday in Burke County, Georgia, after crashing during a police chase, said Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright at a news conference. Drayton was driving a car taken from the home where the shooting took place in the city of Inman, the sheriff said.

The two suspects charged in the brutal slaying of a Georgia high school football star Elijah DeWitt gunned down in a Dave & Buster’s parking lot last week are expected to make their first court appearance Wednesday morning following their extradition back from South Carolina.  The hearing for Kemare Bryan, 18, and Chandler Richardson, 19, both from Lawrenceville, Georgia, was scheduled to begin around 8 a.m. in Gwinnett County Magistrate Court – hours before mourners are expected to gather for the funeral of 18-year-old DeWitt at Jefferson High School at 6 p.m.  Bryan and Richardson are facing charges of felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain felonies in connection with the murder of DeWitt – a standout wide receiver nicknamed "Eazy E" by NFL legend Cam Newton himself.  In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital on Tuesday, DeWitt’s longtime girlfriend, Bailey Reidling detailed the aftermath of the harrowing shooting that unfolded during the couple’s date night with friends on Oct.

A South Carolina man was arrested on Monday, accused of murdering three family members, including a local councilman, authorities said.  Matthew Allen Dewitt, 25, remained in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Tuesday following the deaths of Natasha Stevens, 52, in Conway, South Carolina and James DeWitt II, 52 and Gloria DeWitt, 52, outside of Columbia, South Carolina, the Horry County Police Department said on social media.

Officers searched in the area below the bridge and found a man – later identified as 43-year-old Shannon Lee Cantrell – holding a dog in a choke hold.  Cantrell told the officers that "witches" told him to throw the dog from the bridge.

Funeral arrangements have been set for a Georgia star high school football player gunned down in a mall parking lot last week, as investigators still work to determine the motive for the shooting allegedly carried out by two teenagers later apprehended in South Carolina after fleeing the scene.  Elijah DeWitt, an 18-year-old wider receiver at Jefferson High School, was fatally shot on Oct. 5 at approximately 8:15 p.m.

A man suspected of killing two people early Sunday in northern Indiana was fatally shot during a shootout with police, authorities said. The encounter between the man and local and state officers occurred around 5:30 a.m.
