Soundgarden respond to royalties lawsuit from Chris Cornell’s widow

Like father, like son — and daughter! Chris Brown, 30, shared an adorable snap showing just how alike he and his two children, Royalty, 5, and Aeko, 3 months, look as babies! The R&B singer took to Instagram on Feb. 20 to share the comparison photos and fans couldn’t believe how similar the trio looked! The first picture showed a side-by-side of Chris and baby Aeko.

Royalty Brown might just have a music career in her future! The adorable five-year-old was captured by her mom, Nia Guzman, who shares Royalty with Chris Brown, in a sweet video posted on Instagram on Feb. 19 belting Justin Bieber and Dan + Shay‘s ballad “10,000 Hours.” In the clip, Royalty sat down on a chair just across from her proud mom.

Royalty Brown may only be five years old, but she’s already a fashion icon! The daughter of R&B singer Chris Brown, 30, was pictured in a high-end designer tracksuit while posing for an Instagram photo with her dad on Feb. 12.

Cornell died in May 2017.

The surviving members of Soundgarden are firing back at the widow of late frontman Chris Cornell over the ownership of unfinished songs and allegations of missing royalties.

The surviving Soundgarden band members are demanding that Chris Cornell's widow, Vicky, hand over recordings to what they claim are the band's final unreleased tracks. Band members Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron and Hunter Benedict Shepherd say they worked jointly on these final tracks with Cornell and that Vicky Cornell has no right to withhold from them what they call the "final Soundgarden album."

In December 2019, Vicky Cornell sued the bandmates of her late husband Chris Cornell, claiming that they were withholding royalties from her and her family. Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron, and Ben Shepherd have now responded to the lawsuit, as Rolling Stone notes and court records viewed by Pitchfork confirm.

Chris Pratt is eying a return to television as the star in and executive producer of “The Terminal List,” a TV series based on Jack Carr’s bestselling novel. The ongoing drama, from Antoine Fuqua and his Fuqua Films banner and writer David DiGilio (“Traveler,” “Strange Angel”), is in development at MRC Television through Civic Center Media, MRC’s joint TV venture with UTA.

Chris Pratt could soon be returning to the small screen.

The surviving members of Soundgarden (Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron and Ben Shepherd) today filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit filed against them by Vicky Cornell on December 9, in which she alleged the group owes Cornell’s estate hundreds of thousands of dollars in allegedly unpaid royalties and the rights to seven unreleased recordings made before the singer’s death in May of 2017.

Less than a year after he stepped down from his longtime position as CEO of Starz, veteran media executive Chris Albrecht has put his practically brand-new, A-list-worthy estate on L.A.’s Westside up for sale. Albrecht and his third wife Tina Trahan bought the property in late 2017 for $16 million, while it was still under construction, and the now-complete compound is available for a hefty — but perhaps not wholly unreasonable — $18 million.

Chris Brown, 30, passed on his amazing dance moves to his five-year-old daughter Royalty, as she’s proven in numerous videos. His spinning ability is so epic that there are actual tutorials on how to pull it off on YouTube. But when Royalty tried out her dad’s spinning skills, she ended up getting hurt! The cutie is seen in Instagram pics posted on Jan. 30 showing a great big band-aid on her forehead and an explanation of how she got the injury.
