Andrew Stanton is in talks to direct Chairman Spaceman for Searchlight Pictures and Genre Films, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. Stanton will board the movie based on a 2017 New Yorker fiction story by Thomas Pierce about an infamous corporate raider who renounces his worldly wealth to become an interplanetary missionary.

Get ready some more Mad Max action. Filmmaker George Miller recently confirmed that he is all set to add another film to the Mad Max universe and it will be based on Charlize Theron’s character Imperator Furiosa from 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road. However, the filmmaker stated that the film will not feature Theron in the role. During an interaction with The New York Times, the director opened up about the project and explained that it will be an origin story.
A prequel/ spin-off from the Mad Max series is reportedly on the way from celebrated filmmaker George Miller. News reaches us today that the film will focus upon the character of Furiosa, played by Charlize Theron, in the new movie which is expected to be a prequel. Theron sadly is not expected to reprise the role for the prequel.
When Charlize Theron’s “Mad Max: Fury Road” character returns in an upcoming sequel, don’t expect to see her reprising the role.

A difficult chapter. Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron took a look back on their time filming Mad Max: Fury Road where the pair famously butted heads on set.
Pioneering radio host Barry Farber, who hosted a conservative talk show for decades in New York City and ran unsuccessfully for mayor in 1977, has died. Farber died of natural causes at his home in New York on Wednesday, a day after his 90th birthday, his daughter, Celia Farber, said.
