Get ready some more Mad Max action. Filmmaker George Miller recently confirmed that he is all set to add another film to the Mad Max universe and it will be based on Charlize Theron’s character Imperator Furiosa from 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road. However, the filmmaker stated that the film will not feature Theron in the role. During an interaction with The New York Times, the director opened up about the project and explained that it will be an origin story.
A prequel/ spin-off from the Mad Max series is reportedly on the way from celebrated filmmaker George Miller. News reaches us today that the film will focus upon the character of Furiosa, played by Charlize Theron, in the new movie which is expected to be a prequel. Theron sadly is not expected to reprise the role for the prequel.

Not all movie stars get along, as was the case for Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy while filming "Mad Max: Fury Road." The two actors were famously embroiled in a feud while on set, with Theron, 44, even speaking about it publicly in 2015, telling Esquire at the time that they "f--kin' went at it" while on set. The film opened in 2015 and centered on Hardy's Max Rockatansky on a mission to rescue a group of female prisoners that included Theron, Zoë Kravitz and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
