Sir Rod Stewart has shared a throwback from his Faces days as it's been 50 years since the band released their album Ooh La La.
The band – including late members bassist Ronnie Lane and keyboard player Ian McLagan – shot to fame in the 70s with hits such as Stay With Me, Ooh La La and Cindy Incidentally before splitting in 1975.
However, this week marks half a century since they released Ooh La La.
And Ronnie Wood, who went on to play in The Rolling Stones, shared the Faces snap from 50-years ago and penned: "50 years ago the Faces were at London’s Tramps Nightclub, launching their album Ooh La La."
Rod shared the post and penned: "50 years ago!"
And many fans commented on the post saying despite the years gone by, they still love the album.
One wrote: "Still a great song - and an awesome band - 50 years on. Ooh lah lah indeed."
Another commented: "Oh yes! My 50 year-old album is still a joy to hear!"
While another added: "You guys were amazing! One of my favourite bands."
And one said: "Love that album still have the original in my record collection from when it first came out!"
After the band split, Rod and Ronnie remained close mates and in May this year, the pair reunited on stage together at the Royal Albert Hall to pay tribute to their pal Jeff Beck who died in January after contracting bacterial meningitis.
Previously Rod's wife Penny said that she and Ronnie's wife Sally Wood had pestered their men to reunite and make a full-time comeback.
Speaking on Loose Women previously, she said: "Us wives are trying to get the boys back together. There’s nothing like them.”
The three surviving members last played together at Hurtwood Park Polo Club in Surrey in 2015, raising more than £100,000 for the fight against prostate cancer, in

Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic Who will be the anti-hero of the 2024 Grammys? Well, if that question sounds a little bit rigged, it’s not far from the truth: Taylor Swift enjoys a level of cultural dominance that few other performers have approached (including monopolizing National Football League coverage in recent weeks). Her fall 2022 album “Midnights” isn’t full of obvious swing-for-the-fences smashes like “1989” or seen as more of an art project like “Folklore” (her last two album of the year winners), but it’s got huge hits and a unique, late-night, bringing-the-club-home feel that will appeal to voters who like artists who don’t make the same album twice.
