Alex Newell is looking gorgeous in gold on the red carpet at the 2023 Tony Awards!
The 30-year-old actor, who rose to fame as Unique Adams on Glee, was all smiles on Sunday night (June 11) at the United Palace Theatre in New York City’s Washington Heights.
Alex is nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical for their work in Shucked and may make history as the first non-binary actor to win in the category.
Also in attendance was Alex‘s co-star Kevin Cahoon, who is nominated in the same category, as well as writer Robert Horn, who is nominated for Best Book of a Musical for writing the show’s script.
