Police have confirmed that a teenager arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing at Middleton Shopping Centre had nothing to do with the incident.
A man suffered five stab wounds on Saturday afternoon (August 14) and was taken to hospital in a 'serious but non-life-threatening' condition.
Cops arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of attempted murder but he was released without charge.
