The £7 coir mat features Bertie wearing a Santa hat and a Christmas jumper and is in stores or available to order online. And shoppers are already going crazy for it.
A photo of the mats was shared in a budget Facebook group and was quickly swamped with hundreds of comments from adoring fans eager to get their hands on one.
Most were tagging a fellow sausage dog fan to alert them to the product, like one shopper, who said: "That’s amazing!! You so need it," with another adding: "Oh my god, I want one."
Describing the product, Dunelm's website states: "Let Bertie welcome your guests into your home this Christmas with our super cute and fun Bertie shaped coir mat."
Judging by the reaction so far, we might all end up being greeted at the door by Bertie this festive season.
You can find more items from the Bertie range on the website here.
