EXCLUSIVE: Four years after his fourth acclaimed comedy special The Great Depresh premiered on HBO, comedian Gary Gulman has set his latest, Born on Third Base, to debut on Max. Directed and produced by James Webb (Mark Normand: Soup to Nuts), his new hour will debut on the streaming platform this December.

K.J. Yossman “Shadow and Bone” star Archie Renaux and “Lockwood & Co’s” Ruby Stokes are set to join Jenna Coleman in upcoming BBC thriller “The Jetty.” In the four-part series, from writer Cat Jones and producers Firebird Pictures (a BBC Studios label), Coleman plays Ember Manning, a rookie detective who finds herself at the center of an unusual case when a vacation home in a peaceful lake-side town in Lancashire goes up in flames.

Michaela Zee Russell Brand has been accused of sexual assault by a film extra during the production of “Arthur” in July 2010. In a lawsuit, filed Friday in the New York Supreme Court and obtained by Variety, a woman — referred to as Jane Doe — said that Brand “appeared intoxicated, smelled of alcohol, and was carrying a bottle of vodka on set” prior to the assault. Brand, who played the titular role in 2011’s “Arthur,” then proceeded to expose himself to the complainant and in full view of the cast and crew, the lawsuit states.

James Arthur has said that he smoked an “ungodly amount of weed” to deal with his anxiety while competing on The X Factor.The Middlesbrough singer won season nine of ITV’s reality singing contest in 2012 with the single ‘Impossible’.Arthur has spoken openly about his struggles with mental health in the past, which included experiencing a panic attack during his time on The X Factor.The artist has now revealed that he smoked marijuana regularly for 10 years, including throughout the show, to help manage his symptoms.“I smoked an ungodly amount of weed, I smoked weed every day for like 10 years,” he said in an interview with the Private Parts podcast (via Daily Star). “A lot of weed, a lot of weed, the paranoia made it worse, and yeah drinking and stuff like that.”The ‘Just Us’ singer also opened up about the experience of his “first major panic attack” where ambulances were called and Arthur thought he was “dying and all that kind of shit”.He added: “It was all a bit much, it was the contrast from bedsit to national TV, it was at the peak of its powers when I was on that show, like 12million people a week were watching.”The singer said his mental health hit a new low when he was dropped from Simon Cowell’s label Syco.
