Millie Bobby Brown recently gave insight into her close friendship with Enola Holmes 2 co-star Henry Cavill and the 'strict' boundaries he put in place.The 18-year-old actress was asked by Deadline how her 'camaraderie' with Cavill, 39, differs from that of her Stranger Things co-stars like Noah Schnapp, 18, and Charlie Heaton, 28.'It's different because I grew up with Noah and Charlie. I met them when I was 10. So, for me, it does feel like your schoolmates,' she explained.

Both are attached to star and executive produce and Bateman is set to direct. A new trailer for Enola Holmes 2 was shared on Tuesday morning.In the clip, Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown is seen as a determined detective who has recently opened her own agency. Her first client is Matchstick Girl who is trying to find her missing sister who may hold many secrets about the rich and powerful.Also seen in the trailer was Henry Cavill who plays Enola's dashing detective brother Sherlock.

It shouldn’t have been much of a surprise that Netflix’s “Enola Holmes” was a success when it was released in 2020. Not only is the film set in the world of Sherlock Holmes, which is an IP that people still love, but it stars Millie Bobby Brown, who is something of Netflix royalty thanks to her role in “Stranger Things.” Alas, the film was not only a major hit, but it struck a chord with critics, as well.

“Star Trek: Picard” premiered at New York Comic-Con ahead of its release on Paramount+ this coming February. Jennifer Maas TV Business Writer A new trailer for the third and final season of Paramount+’s “Star Trek: Picard” launched out of New York Comic Con Saturday, revealing new additions to the Patrick Stewart-led show’s cast — including the return of some iconic villains from “Star Trek: The Next Generation.” Per Paramount+, Brent Spiner will be back on “Picard,” not as Data, but as a character the streamer describes as “named Lore” — evoking one of the most formidable villains in “Next Generation” history: Data’s evil twin brother, Lore, who was defeated and disassembled at the beginning of Season 7 of “Next Gen.” Additionally, Daniel Davis will return as Professor Moriarty from “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” the Holodeck personification of a fictional character created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to be an enemy for Sherlock Holmes. “Next Gen’s” Moriarty ended up becoming self aware.

Christopher Vourlias Paris-based sales agency and production company Luxbox has released the trailer for “Trenque Lauquen,” Argentine director-producer Laura Citarella’s adventure mystery that has its world premiere Sept. 8 in the Horizons sidebar of the Venice Film Festival. Variety has been given exclusive access to the trailer, which can be seen below. Filmed in two parts, Citarella’s fourth feature begins with a pair of men both searching for a woman who has mysteriously vanished. While one of them claims to be her boyfriend, the other has also forged an intimate bond with the missing woman, with a series of flashbacks revealing that he’s also fallen in love with her.

The pick-up continues Luxbox’s strong line in Latin American titles, seen this year in Sundance entry “Dos Estaciones” and Cannes Directors’ Fortnight title “1976.” Filmed in two parts, “Trenque Lauquen” begins with a couple of men, Rafael and Ezequiel, who are on the road, both searching for a woman, Laura, who has vanished. 

COLOURFUL kids series Balamory is still treasured 20 years after it landed on kids' telly. The legendary CBeebies series was set in a fictional Scottish village with happy-go-lucky characters like Miss Hoolie and Suzie Sweet being favourites with young viewers. Balamory, which ran from 2002 - 2005, won Best Pre-school Live Action Series at the 2004 BAFTA Children’s Awards.
