Shemar Moore Sets 'Young & The Restless' Return for 50th Anniversary Appearance

BBC TV boss Charlotte Moore has said she will not “censor” respected writers who want to make shows about controversial subjects such as Jimmy Savile and the Grenfell disaster. In a wide-ranging briefing with the media press, Moore also addressed the Gary Lineker and Richard Sharp controversies, future of Top Gear, the streamers and the closure of CBBC and BBC Four on linear.

Rothwell was a fan favorite in Season 1 as spa manager Belinda Lindsey, who was strung along by wealthy resort guest Tanya McQuoid (Jennifer Coolidge) with promises of an investment to open her own practice. Plot and character details remain under wraps for the new season, but creator Mike White teased after the Season 2 finale that he envisions “a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality” — potentially aligning with Belinda’s wellness background.

With the 50th anniversary of “Enter the Dragon” around the corner, the TCM Classic Film Festival held a special screening on Saturday night of the iconic film to a packed audience to celebrate the legacy of the timeless martial arts classic. Angelique Jackson Legendary actor and filmmaker Clint Eastwood is closing in on his next project, with plans to direct “Juror No. 2.” The legal drama is set up at Warner Bros., with Nicholas Hoult and Toni Collette circling the lead roles. Eastwood will direct and produce the project alongside Adam Goodman, Tim Moore and Jessica Meier. Jonathan Abrams penned the script. “Juror No. 2” will take place during a murder trial and follows a juror (Hoult), who realizes that he may have caused the victim’s death. He must decide whether to manipulate the jury to save himself, or reveal the truth and turn himself in. Collette would play the prosecutor. Warner Bros. is nearing a green light on the project, with a production start eyed for June, following Eastwood’s 93rd birthday on May 31.

A special 50th anniversary event celebrating the release of cult folk horror movie The Wicker Man will be held in Newton Stewart at the end of the month.

Pregnant Rumer Willis says her parents are "so excited" about their first grandchild, while also both proving to be full of parenting advice and knowledge ahead of the birth of her first child.  "[My parents] are so excited. My sisters are so excited, and it's so fun to be bringing in the first grandkid in our family, especially because we're such a huge group at this point," the 34-year-old actress told People.  Willis said her parents, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, have already started piling on the parenting advice, with their best tip being, "You have no control over anything, and just have a lot of grace with yourself."  Willis announced she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas back in December, telling the outlet her pregnancy has been "humbling" thus far.  "I have so much reverence and respect for women now.

Tony Award-nominee Domhnall Gleeson is set to join the cast of Apple Original Films’ Echo Valley, a new dramatic feature and original screenplay by Brad Ingelsby, and starring Academy Award-winner Julianne Moore and multi-Emmy Award-nominee Sydney Sweeney. Hailing from Apple Studios, and produced by Scott Free Films and The Walsh Company, the film will be directed by BAFTA Award-winner Michael Pearce.

Chris Frantz Sire Records co-founder Seymour Stein was indisputably one of the greatest music executives of all time, with a career that spanned six decades and a rare ear for talent that led Madonna, Talking Heads, Lou Reed, Ice-T, Depeche Mode, the Pretenders, the Smiths, and many others to his label. Stein, who died on April 2 at the age of 80, is remembered here by Chris Frantz, drummer of Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club, who, with Tina Weymouth (now his wife), Jerry Harrison and of course David Byrne, signed with the label late in 1976.  Seymour told this story many times. His first visit to CBGB’s on the Bowery was to see the Ramones. His wife Linda insisted that he see them because they were something new and fabulous and she thought he should sign them, which he did. He was standing outside the club on the sidewalk speaking with [Patti Smith’s longtime guitarist] Lenny Kaye, waiting for Ramones to go on when he heard the support band begin to play. “When my love stands next to your love….”

Shemar Moore may have found success in primetime television with “Criminal Minds” and, currently, “S.W.A.T.”, but he’s never forgotten his soap roots.
