Shaughna Phillips has bravely spoken of the "worst night of her life".Taking to her Twitter platform on Sunday evening, the former Love Island star claimed that she had planned to speak out following a situation she was involved in back in 2018. However, the 27 year old reality star and influencer claims she was "silenced into not dealing with it" despite having "evidence".
"I went through the worst night of my life on September 2nd, and on September 3rd Roxanne Pallet falsely accused Ryan Thomas of hitting her on CBB." Shaughna continued: "I then had to witness everyone on social media talk about how bad falsely accusing someone can be (and rightly so)", she continued. In another tweet, Shaughna continued: "But it literally silenced me into not even dealing with what had happened.
"I had evidence, I made sure of it. But I still kept silence." Shaughna's legion of followers offers their thoughts following her tweets.
One person said: "You dealt with it like an absolute champ." A second wrote: "When one survivor steps up and share their story, it inspires others and gives them the power to speak about theirs.Thank you, Shaughna, for sharing this and I'm sorry you went through it." Someone else commented: "It's never too late to share your story and bring justice to those who hurt you." Refuge, the charity for survivors of domestic abuse, wrote: "Thank you for speaking out Shaughna, your words will inspire other women to feel not alone. Sending much love and support." The post comes after Shaughna candidly discussed her journey to body positivity, and reflected on how unhappy she was when she was slimmer.
