Shaughna Phillips has hit back after some followers accused her of a ‘dangerous’ parenting move with baby Lucia. Back in April, the former Love Island star, 29, announced that she’d welcomed her first child with ex-boyfriend Billy Webb. The star took to Instagram to share some sweet photos of her baby girl trying porridge, with Lucia pictured sitting in a high chair as she prepares to try the new food.
However, some fans wondered if Lucia, who is four months old, was too young to be trying ‘solid’ food. In a later post, Shaughna shared a photo of the porridge, which is intended for babies, as she explained her daughter is “only trying a few spoons here and there”.
She added in a caption: “I'm also no expert (like some out there HEHE) and every baby is different, so do whatever at your own pace and check with your midwife if you're unsure." In an Instagram story clip, Shaughna continued to call out her critics, saying: “Honestly, you would think that I've started telling people that I'm making Lucia's bottles with vodka now instead of water. "She's trying four to six months porridge and she's just over four months, she's 18 weeks.
So you can report me to the police but I think I'll get no further action, thanks huns." It’s not the first time the star has hit back after being criticised by her followers. Last month, she hit out at a follower who criticised her for taking her baby for her standardised injections.
On July 13, the star uploaded a short clip of Lucia in her carseat awaiting a second batch of vaccinations - writing over it: "2nd lot of injections pending. Worst part of this mum game by FAR." However, it seems as though this didn't sit right with some of the platform's users, who decided to message the reality TV
