Sharon Gaffka details broken heart after 'whirlwind' romance: 'I felt crushed'

Sharon Gaffka has spoken out on her recent heartbreak after a "whirlwind" romance ended quite "abruptly".The 26 year old, who was recently branded "unreal" by fans after debuting her two-tone hair colour, opened up on the relationship during an exclusive chat with OK! Online after writing about the experience on her blog The S Word. In her diary-like entry, Sharon said: "I recently had someone in my life, who I genuinely thought would be the ‘love of my life’.
As disgustingly cliché as it sounds!" The reality star shared that she sobbed over the split and asked herself "why wasn’t I enough?" – which she deemed normal and "always the first part of heartbreak". "You know when you first meet somebody it's like that whirlwind-type vibes and then it just kind of fell a bit flat and it was a bit abrupt," she explained. Detailing their romance, she continued: "At the time I felt really crushed by it but actually I realise longer term that I never regret anyone that's walked out of my life for a variety of different reasons.
For me, the reason I don't regret this person walking out of my life is because I'm now able to put 100 per cent into myself." After appearing on Love Island in 2021, Sharon, much like her co-stars, was offered Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, which she still takes advantage of today when she feels the need to.
