SeriesFest Sets Season 8 Lineup, Starz’s ‘Becoming Elizabeth’ To Kick Off In-Person Event

Universal Pictures will release the new film “Cocaine Bear” on Friday, Feb. 24, 2023 in theaters wide, the studio announced on Monday.Wild as it may seem, the film is inspired by the 1985 true story of a drug runner’s plane crash, missing cocaine, and the black bear that ate it.

Oprah Winfrey Network announced that courtroom drama series All Rise, starring Simone Missick, returns for a third season on Tuesday, June 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on OWN. 

Elizabeth Banks’ next directorial Cocaine Bear will be hitting theaters on Feb. 24, 2023.

Epix has renewed the contemporary sci-fi horror series From, headlined by Harold Perrineau, for a 10-episode second season. Created/executive produced by John Griffin and exec produced by Lost alums Jack Bender and Jeff Pinkner, the series unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter. Production will commence this summer in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with an expected air date in 2023.

“Becoming Elizabeth,” Starz’s Tudor drama about a young royal, has a premiere date.The new series will debut on Sunday, June 12, the network announced Thursday. It will drop on the Starzapp and on streaming and on-demand at midnight, and air on linear at 9 p.m.
