A second person has died at Glastonbury Festival after a body was found during clean-up operations. Police say a man in his forties was found unresponsive in his tent at around 2.20pm on Tuesday.
As reported by the Mirror, the man had been employed as a festival worker at Worthy Farm in Somerset. He is believed to be a dad-of-three from North London, according to reports in The Jewish Chronicle.
His family is said to have been notified. No further information has been released by authorities at this time.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "Police were called at about 2.20pm on Tuesday, June 27, after a man in his forties was found unresponsive in his tent in The Park at the Glastonbury Festival site.
"Sadly, the man, a member of the festival's crew, was confirmed dead at the scene. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner."
It follows the death of Jason Winder, who died on Sunday morning on the Worthy Farm site following a "medical episode". Paying tribute, close friend Tim Newton said Mr Winder "lived large and packed a lot of life into his 48 short years".
Avon & Somerset Police are not treating either death as suspicious, and files have been passed to the coroner. Glastonbury Festival have been approached by the Mirror for comment.
Around 200,000 people attended the festival over the weekend, which saw the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Lewis Capaldi and Elton John play to huge crowds.
