In Fresh, Daisy plays Noa, a cynic who meets Texan surgeon Steve (Sebastian Stan) at the grocery store. While the plot is being kept under wraps, the trailer makes it seem as though there’s a darker side to Steve’s (possibly cannibalistic) courtship.
In an interview at the IndieWire Studio at Sundance, the actress said that the film explores “the difficulties we face in the world of dating now and in dating apps, and exploring this general level of fear that we live with as women without really realizing it, of their being a risk attached to a lot of things, even just walking home late at night, or meeting a stranger on a date.”
The movie will debut March 4 on Hulu and you can watch the full trailer down below!

Sebastian Stan experienced some “violent pepper action” while answering questions about the film industry.

It turns out, Stan had a little extra help in the costuming department that viewers — and even James — didn’t get to see, as Stan recently let fans in on the wild addition to his wardrobe that helped him “feel like a man.
