Beth Mawer has described herself as 'lucky' having caught the cancer early after getting the mole checked out when it changed shape, size and colour and became itchy.

Beth, who is a regular at leading venue SWG3 and has played at FLY Open Air Festival, says she would 'do anything in her power' to avoid getting any more melanoma.
She added: "If there’s any advice I could give is to avoid using sunbeds, if sitting in the sun wear at LEAST factor 30 and sit in the shade on the hottest parts of the day which is usually 3pm - I know part of going on holiday is getting the best tan possible, because we don’t get sun in Scotland right?
