Scotland's Home of The Year search has ventured to the south of Scotland as judges Anna Campbell Jones, Banjo Beale, and Michael Angus secured the final home.
The BBC judges started off at the newly built eco-house Beech Trees in Dumfries and Galloway which is home to Zoe and Tony, as well as their three black Labradors. The one-level house showcased the couple's focus on sustainability throughout, including many home-made and refurbished pieces of furniture.
The couple created their own curtains and cushions, as well as using old beech trees from the land the house was built on to make shelving, window frames, and a garden table. This property unfortunately wasn't to everyone's taste, and only scored 22 when it came to the final judgements.
Next up, the judges stayed in the region as they ventured to Knocklimpen in Thornhill. The former milking barn, with a contemporary extension, this property is home to Helen Joyce and her husband David.
The barn had been empty for over 25 years and the couple wanted to retain the original character and integrity while linking it to a modern extension. Anna, Banjo, and Michael definitely preferred Knocklimpen to Beech Trees, as it scored 25.
Finally, the trio of judges headed to Manor House in Peebles for their third and final property. Thought to date back to the 16th century, the impressive home belongs to Megan, husband Mike and their two children Caleb and Emilia.
When the couple first came across the property it was completely dilapidated with holes in the roof and riddled with damp. Set in beautiful countryside, the home is full of salvaged items including an old science bench that has been re-purposed as a kitchen island.
After wowing the judges, Manor House has made its way to
