Scotland's best chippies from across the country have been named at a top awards show. The Food Awards Scotland has picked out this year's winners from four regions around Scotland as well as crowning the overall winner.
The awards team said that all of the finalists and winners have helped "shape and build Scotland’s reputation of food".
The winners of the Scottish Food Awards were announced at a black-tie ceremony at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel on September 26.
The awards said the winners are a true reflection of high standards and customer service and are chosen by members of the general public. Several of the awards are split into local regions to ensure that local establishments from across the country are recognised for their exceptional performance.
A spokesperson for The Food Awards Scotland said: “It is true that Scotland combines tastes and flavours from all over the world, where visitors can find different restaurants, gastro pubs and bistros, to meet their needs.
“Creative Oceanic is proud to be part of this celebration and we would like to congratulate all finalists and winners for their achievements!”
