The main road through Scone was closed for an hour and a half on Monday night when a car flipped over onto its side blocking both sides of the A94.
Multiple emergency vehicles attended the scene a short distance from Perth, but no injuries were reported.
Police said the driver of a Ford Focus, a 76-year-old female, collided with a parked Mazda on the A94 outside shops and homes.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 9pm on Monday, March 21, to a report of a Ford Focus colliding with a parked Mazda on the A94 near Scone.
“The Ford rolled onto its side and blocked both carriageways.
“Emergency services attended and the driver was checked over before being taken home.
“The road has since reopened.”
