Savannah Chrisley and her ex Nic Kerdiles are speaking out about mental health in a new video.
On Wednesday (January 2) Nic, 28, discussed reports that he had considered suicide in an Instagram Live with Savannah, whom he split from in September 2020, and her father Todd Chrisley.

Savannah began by sharing some statistics on how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted mental health, adding that no one is alone in this struggle. Todd went on to say that their family had experienced “devastating incidents” involving Nic.
“I’m super grateful to be here today,” Nic said. “As Todd mentioned, I recently went through COVID as well, and now reading a lot more about it, I kind of understand why this situation might have happened that occurred the other night,” he continued. “[It's] definitely not something that is easy to talk about. But I think that if I can share it, it can help somebody else out there as well.”
He continued, “With COVID and some of the things that I’ve had from COVID, I’ve been on medication and I decided to mix alcohol with it, to a point that … I don’t remember anything that happened that night and I was in a full blackout.”
He said that he found himself with a gun, explaining, “I don’t know where I was at in my mental state but between the depression, anxiety, the COVID effects, the medication and the alcohol, I did something that I never thought I would ever do.”
Luckily, Nic had made an appointment with his friend to cut his hair. “If he wasn’t there, I don’t know if I would still be here today, to be completely honest,” he admitted.
Todd added that the medication Nic was taking had “89 percent risk of causing depression and anxiety.”
