Sarah Gadon Joins ‘Wayward’ Netflix Limited Series

EXCLUSIVE: Rosemarie DeWitt (La La Land, The Staircase) is set as the female lead opposite Eric Bana in Netflix‘s limited series Untamed, from Warner Bros. Television and studio-based John Wells Productions.

Patrick Dempsey (Grey’s Anatomy) has joined the cast of Paramount+ with Showtimes’ Dexter: Original Sin in a series regular role. In the Dexter prequel series, Dempsey will play Aaron Spencer, the Captain of the Miami Metro Homicide department who has a decades-long relationship with Harry Morgan (Christian Slater).

Michael Chernus (Severance, Dead Ringers) has been tapped for the title role in Peacock’s limited drama series Devil In Disguise: John Wayne Gacy.

Tell Me Lies actress Grace Van Patten is set to take on the role of Amanda Knox in a new limited series.

Grace Van Patten, star of the Hulu drama series Tell Me Lies, has been recruited to headline another project for the streamer, a limited series about Amanda Knox. Van Patten will play Knox, succeeding Margaret Qualley who had been originally cast in the role but pulled out for scheduling reasons.

Selome Hailu Todd Haynes has been set as writer and director of “Trust,” a limited series starring Kate Winslet that is currently in development at HBO. Jon Raymond will co-write the project, and both serve as executive producers. The official logline reads, “In a story told from multiple, competing perspectives, a 1920s Wall Street tycoon amasses a sudden fortune but loses a beloved wife.

Henningsen and Fey previously worked together on the Broadway musical version of “Mean Girls,” for which Fey wrote the book based on the movie of the same name she also wrote. Henningsen originated the role of Cady Heron in the original Broadway production.
