Sara Ramirez is dishing on And Just Like That season two!
The 46-year-old actor made waves in the first season of the Sex & the City revival playing non-binary comic Che Diaz, who romanced Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon).
In the season finale, Che left New York City and moved to Los Angeles to film a TV pilot, and Miranda decided to follow them.
In a new interview, Sara – who is also non-binary – revealed if Che will be back for season two.

“The first season was judging a book by its cover, and season 2 is about reading the book,” Sara shared in an interview with Variety, confirming that Che will definitely be back for the second season.
Showrunner Michael Patrick King, who also took part in the interview, added that he is determined to get viewers to see Che in a different light in season two.
“One of my burning passions about season 2 is Che,” Michael shared. “I want to show the dimension of Che that people didn’t see, for whatever reason — because they were blinded, out of fear or terror. I want to show more of Che rather than less of Che. Like, really.”
After being introduced in And Just Like That, viewers weren’t the biggest fan of Che, and often made fun of the character.
For Sarah, they refuse to engage in the social media hate.
“Other people’s opinions of a character — that’s not something I can allow into my process,” Sara explained. “I choose what I receive, right? That’s the beauty of being grown — I don’t have to receive everything! And this is Michael’s baby. He created this role. He wrote it. Those are his and his writing team’s jokes.”
HBO Max officially renewed And Just Like That for a second season back in March.
