James Blake has announced his new album ‘Playing Robots Into Heaven’ and shared its lead single ‘Big Hammer’.‘Playing Robots In Heaven’ is set for release on September 8 via Polydor/ Republic. A case in the name of nine women was filed in the U.S. District Court for Nevada, alleging that the disgraced actor and comedian exercised his “enormous power, fame and prestige” to isolate and sexually assault the individuals named in the case. Per NBC News, a group of the women will speak in an interview on “NBC News Daily” on Thursday. Pam Joy Abeyta, Lili Bernard, Rebecca Cooper, Janice Dickinson, Lise-Lotte Lublin, Linda Kirkpatrick, Janice Baker Kinney, Angela Leslie and Heidi Thomas are named in the case. Cosby was convicted of a criminal sexual assault charge in Pennsylvania in April 2018. However, in 2021, the actor was released from prison after spending nearly three years behind the bars; the conviction was overturned by the state Supreme Court. The actor, now 85 years old, has discussed plans for a comedy tour.

After completely selling out the first leg, Carrión’s 16-city lineup now includes its first stops in New York’s MSG Theater and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium. Carrión is set to deliver performances of his firey rap and urbano hits, namely those coming off his latest “3MEN2 KBRN” album, which included features from influential hip-hop titans like Future, Lil Wayne, Myke Towers, 50 Cent, Quavo and many more. With a start date of Oct. 7 in Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom, part two of the “Sauce USA Tour” will see support from Venezuelan rapper Big Soto as the opening act. As the world mourns the sudden death of  and  actor Treat Williams, new details of his fatal motorcycle accident are surfacing. Williams, 71, died Monday at Albany Medical Center in New York after being airlifted away in a helicopter from the collision in Vermont, according to Vermont State Police Department PIO Adam Silverman and Lt. Steve Coote, who held a virtual press conference covering the incident. The crash happened around 5 p.m. Monday on Route 30 by Long Trail Auto near the southwestern Vermont town of Dorset.

Marta Balaga Oscar winner Andrew Ruhemann has returned to the director’s chair for “The Day I Became a Bird.” His first short in 13 years, based on a book by Chabbert Ingrid, will see a boy who falls in love – with a girl that only has eyes for birds. Desperate to get her attention, he comes up with a rather unusual plan. “I was at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair and that’s where I found this book. I thought it was a very intriguing image: Why is there this kid in a bird costume? It moved me,” he says. Ruhemann’s previous short, “The Lost Thing,” brought him an Academy Award in 2011, shared with Shaun Tan.

The 76th annual Tony Awards preshow is under way before tonight’s televised ceremony tonight in New York, and Deadline is updating the winners list as they are announced. The ceremony broadcasts on CBS and Paramount+, with the telecast airing from 8-11 p.m. ET/5-8 p.m. PT. The ceremony is being held at the United Palace in New York. This year’s telecast will go unscripted due to the ongoing writers’ strike, as reported by Variety on May 18. Those up for the prestigious awards include “Some Like It Hot,” with a total of 13 nominations, as well as “& Juliet,” “Shucked” and “New York, New York,” which received a total of nine nominations each. Has there ever been a less predictable Tony Awards? Just a few weeks ago there were doubts that a televised ceremony would even happen, due to the ongoing WGA strike. That problem proved to be just a speed bump – the guild agreed not to picket the show, but the show will include no scripts, no pre-written introductions or podium banter. There will be the usual musical numbers from the nominated shows – the heart of the ceremony – as well as some additional performances, tributes to John Kander and Joel Grey, the traditional In Memoriam segment and, well, we’ll all just have to wait and see for the rest.
