Anna Calvi has promised her fans that she’ll be releasing “lots of new music” in 2021.The musician last released a solo album in 2018 with ‘Hunter’, her third studio LP. She reworked that record last year for the collaborative ‘Hunted’.Calvi addressed her fans on her social media channels earlier today (January 6) with a new year’s message in which she declared “I’m ready for you 2021!”“Happy new year everyone! I send you my best wishes,” she wrote.

A New Mexico judge this week decided in favor of 78-year-old Gary Hein, who sued the state for keeping him apart from his wife, who currently lives in a nursing home, during the coronavirus pandemic, according to local reports. The New Mexico Health Department must revise a provision enacted in March allowing nursing homes to make their own rules regarding visitor bans, State District Judge Matthew Wilson ordered Monday after hearing Hein's case, the Santa Fe New Mexican reported.

The National Park Service is investigating an incident in which a visitor was shocked with a stun gun over the weekend by a park ranger at the Petroglyph National Monument in New Mexico.  Darrell House, a Native American and Marine veteran, was with his sister Sunday afternoon walking his dog at the park, where he often prays and meditates, according to news reports.  As he was walking, he moved off a trail to make way for a group of walkers and to adhere to social distance protocols, he said.
