Rylan Clark has bravely opened up about the tumultuous end to his marriage with Dan Neal, revealing that he thought he would "understand" his confession of infidelity. The 34 year old TV star, whose final episode of Rob & Rylan’s Grand Tour airs this week, sat down with Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond to share deeply personal details from his life.
During the emotional chat, Rylan disclosed how he confessed to Dan about cheating earlier in their relationship. He naively expected understanding from Dan, only to be met with a reaction that was "the exact opposite" which completely blindsided him.

Rylan also touched upon the aftermath of his admission, saying: "I ended up being admitted somewhere as I was a threat to myself." Despite the turmoil, Rylan's journey towards healing began when he realised, "none of it mattered to me - my poor mum went through it all - but one day, knowledge and knowing I wasn't crazy snapped me out of it". He concluded stating: "But there was a reason I said what I said that morning." Rylan's co-star Rob recently teased their new series, which follows Lord Byron's travels around Italy, with a post about his friendship.
He posted on Twitter: "'Friendship may and often does, grow into love.' Byron .. See you alongside him 9pm tonight @BBCTwo." This led
