Ryan Thomas has told fans 'I think I'll cry' as he looks ahead to a huge move with his family. The former Coronation Street star is preparing to move back up north to Manchester after spending a number of years living in Essex.
Ryan, who played Jason Grimshaw in the ITV soap for 16 years between 2000 and 2016, has been living down south after meeting his fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh. The actor met and fell in love with former TOWIE star Lucy in 2017 when taking part in Bear Grylls Celebrity Island.
The pair got engaged during a stunning trip to Italy in 2019 before they welcomed their first child, Roman, in March 2020. A year later, the couple revealed that Ryan had purchased a property in Manchester as a surprise and that they were going to completely transform before moving in.

And in the meantime, the couple have also welcomed their second child, Lilah Rae, who is now one. Now, more then two years after Ryan was branded 'brave' for picking his and Lucy's future family home on his own, the moving in date is ending closer.
Earlier this week, Ryan took to his Instagram story where he shared a video from a moving train. "Back to Manchester. The final push on our new home," he typed alongside it. And after a period of silence, the former soap star returned to his Instagram Stories with a video update.
Sat in his car, the 39-year-old said to the camera: "So I'm just at the train station waiting for the wife to arrive. I got here late last night, had to be on site early. I'm very impressed. The most men I've ever seen on a job in my life, especially in my house. There's about 20 of them working around the clock trying to get this
