Ruthless Oscars deliciously snub Gaga, Jared Leto and Bradley Cooper

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper gave each other a warm embrace when they were reunited at the 2022 SAG Awards on Sunday 27 February. The duo were nominated for a host of awards for their performance together in 2018 film A Star Is Born, but didn't win at the SAG awards in 2019 after losing out to Glenn Close (The Wife) and Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody). Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, won a Critics Choice Awards for her performance, however.

Lady Gaga will make an 11,000-mile round trip for this year's BAFTA ceremony. The 35-year-old star missed the event in 2019, despite being nominated for a gong - but this time, she intends to fly from the US to London to attend the ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall. A source said: "Lady Gaga’s schedule was really hectic when she was nominated for 'A Star Is Born' in 2019 and she just couldn’t face the trip.
