Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper gave each other a warm embrace when they were reunited at the 2022 SAG Awards on Sunday 27 February. The duo were nominated for a host of awards for their performance together in 2018 film A Star Is Born, but didn't win at the SAG awards in 2019 after losing out to Glenn Close (The Wife) and Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody). Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, won a Critics Choice Awards for her performance, however.
At the star-studded event last night, the Rain On Me singer, 35, stunned in a diamante gown, while Bradley, 47, looked handsome in a three piece suit and bow-tie. The pair were all smiles as they posed for photos together and hugged one another. Bradley was nominated for a SAG this year for his role in Licorice Pizza alongside Ben Affleck (The Tender Bar), Jared Leto (House of Gucci), Troy Kotsur (CODA) and Kodi Smit-McPhee (The Power of the Dog). Meanwhile Lady Gaga was nominated for her role in House of Gucci and was up against Jessica Chastain for The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Olivia Colman (The Lost Daughter), Jennifer Hudson (Respect) and Nicole Kidman (Being the Ricardos).The singer lost out to Jessica, while Troy Kotsur took home the award Bradley was nominated for.
Following the release of A Star Is Born, fans of Lady Gaga and Bradley’s were convinced that the pair were romantically involved, despite Bradley dating Russian model Irina Shayk at the time. If a deal closes, Bomer joins Carey Mulligan, who will play Bernstein’s wife Felicia. Pic will be produced by Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Cooper and his Joint Effort producing partner Todd Phillips, Kristie Macosko Krieger, Emma Tillinger Koskoff, and Fred Berner and Amy Durning.
