Ruth Negga has signed on to star in the upcoming limited series Josephine, which will follow the life of the legendary entertainer Josephine Baker.
The 39-year-old Oscar-nominated actress will also serve as an executive producer on the project, which also counts LeBron James as an EP.
The project was written by David Makes Man showrunner Dee Harris-Lawrence and will be directed by Emmy-nominated director Millicent Shelton.
