Russell Crowe has landed his second role in the Marvel universe!
The 57-year-old Oscar-winning actor will be starring alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson in Sony’s Marvel movie Kraven the Hunter, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

As of right now, details on Russell‘s role are being kept under wraps, but it has been reported that most of the characters are said to be Kravin’s family members.
Last year, it was announced that Aaron, 31, had signed a multi-picture deal to play Kraven.
Kraven The Hunter, was born into Russian aristocracy as Sergei Kravinoff and is described as “an obsessive big-game hunter” and was first introduced as a Spider-Man villain in “The Amazing Spider-Man” #15 (1964).
In the original comics, Kraven started off his career using the tools of the hunter and over time developed a preference to take down large animals with his bare hands. After meeting a Voodoo witch doctor named Calypso, Kraven took a herbal potion which enhanced his physical powers give him the strength, speed and senses to match a jungle cat.

Even before the runaway success of “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” Sony had been deep in the expansion plans of their live-action Spider-verse. “Morbius” is next coming in April, and after that, in early 2023 will be “Kraven The Hunter,” the latest Marvel film being assembled by Sony Pictures.
