Rudy’s will be opening its 27th pizzeria next month in Greater Manchester.
The pizza institution, known for its authentic Neapolitan pizzas with quality ingredients, will open its seventh venue in the city-borough in July in Altrincham. The restaurant will be based in the heart of the suburb within the former OneCentral food court on Central Way.
The new restaurant will join a list of popular venues there including at Ancoats, Chorlton, Didsbury, and Sale, as well as two sites in the city centre on Peter Street and Portland Street.

The Altrincham restaurant will feature a full revamp of the Charis House unit, introducing a new mezzanine level and an extension to the side of the venue. A reposition of the external stairwell will give the restaurant space for more than 100 covers, as well as outdoor dining space.
Since opening the first venue in Ancoats back in 2015, Rudy’s has gone on to also open up restaurants across the country, including locations in Liverpool, Birmingham and London. Rudy’s dough is made fresh daily using Caputo ‘00’ flour, which is fermented for at least 24 hours.
It’s then layered with high-quality ingredients from Naples, including Fior di Latte mozzarella and San Marzano tomatoes grown on fields next to Mount Vesuvius. As per authentic Neapolitan techniques, the dough is then cooked in a Stefano Ferrara oven for around 60 seconds, giving it a soft and light taste with a raised crust around the edge.
Amongst its bustling menu, Rudy’s also serves a rotation of specials that pay homage to local and famous pizzerias from around the world. Recent specials have included the Che Cavolo, featuring a broccoli puree
