We thought we couldn’t be any more excited when we learned that Normal People was being made into a television series.
But when we learned that it would be shown on RTÉ we were absolutely over the moon.
RTÉ has kept tight-lipped about the air date of the series, but now we know when it will kick-off.
The broadcaster has confirmed that adaptation of Sally Rooney’s acclaimed novel will air on Tuesday 28th April.

Normal People has been high on people’s TV must-watch lists lately and we can’t say we’re surprised… it’s SO good! The BBC series, which is an adaptation of Sally Rooney’s acclaimed novel, landed in full on iPlayer recently, and we’re sure popcorn has been flying off shelves to accompany evening binge-watching sessions as a result. As well as being fond of the series, it seems fans are also gushing over lead actor Paul Mescal, 24, too, who plays Irish heartthrob, Connell.
