Rory Gallagher’s self-titled debut solo album from 1971 is being released as a five-disc box set to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Released on Friday 3rd September 2021 via UMC/UMe, ‘Rory Gallagher 50th Anniversary Edition’ features a brand-new mix of the album plus 30 previously unreleased outtakes and alternate takes, a six-song 1971 BBC Radio John Peel Sunday Concert and four 1971 BBC Radio Sounds of the seventies session tracks.
