Ronan Keating has made his return to the stage, as he dedicated his emotional performance to his late brother two weeks after his sudden death. The 46 year old former Boyzone star performed at Uptown Festival partnered with Magic Radio at Blackheath Common in London on Sunday. Ronan's brother, Ciaran Keating, who was in his 50s, died of his injuries after being involved in a two-car crash in Ireland two weeks ago.
Ciaran had been travelling with his wife, Ann Marie to watch their son, Ruairi, play for Cork City FC. Ann Marie, was hospitalised, as were two men in the second vehicle.
Ronan took to the stage at Uptown Festival, wearing a light blue suit with a t-shirt underneath, as well as tinted sunglasses as he entertained the crowds. During his set, an emotional Ronan told the crowd honestly: "Didn’t know if I was going to be here tonight or not.
"It’s been quite a time for our family, so thank you so much for giving me this moment. We’ll get through this together." During a particularly emotional moment, the star later belted out his hit If Tomorrow Never Comes, as he blew a kiss toward the sky at the end.
