Dream-pop demigods Slowdive return with “kisses,” announce new album and tour

I watch Gregg Araki's The Doom Generation for the first time last week and, not five minutes into the '90s queer Bonnie & Clyde & Clyde thriller, we got the first of two Slowdive needle drops. Veeze announces new album Ganger

In the just-under four years since the release of his last full-length album, Detroit rapper Veeze has become something of a folk hero for his unwillingness to release new music even when a leak or snippet sends his base into a frenzy. There have been signs of increased focus over the past year: the well-recieved single "GOMD" which got a Lil Uzi Vert remix, and a big nationwide tour with Babyface Ray and Shawny Binladen.

Oscar Winner Andrew Ruhemann Announces New Film ‘The Day I Became a Bird’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Marta Balaga Oscar winner Andrew Ruhemann has returned to the director’s chair for “The Day I Became a Bird.” His first short in 13 years, based on a book by Chabbert Ingrid, will see a boy who falls in love – with a girl that only has eyes for birds. Desperate to get her attention, he comes up with a rather unusual plan. “I was at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair and that’s where I found this book. I thought it was a very intriguing image: Why is there this kid in a bird costume? It moved me,” he says. Ruhemann’s previous short, “The Lost Thing,” brought him an Academy Award in 2011, shared with Shaun Tan.
