Roman Kemp has revealed that he has undergone fertility tests ahead of turning 30, saying: “I want more than anything to be a dad”. The 29 year old Capital FM radio presenter and TV personality made the frank comments during ITV’s Loose Men special, which aired on Thursday.
He was seen on the famous panel alongside host Vernon Kay, plus Strictly's Johannes Radebe and Mike Tindall in the all-male show special, which came as part of Mental Health Awareness week. As the men spoke about men’s biological clocks ticking, Roman, who’s not currently thought to be dating anyone, said that life was “all about having kids and a family”, before admitting: “I want more than anything to be a dad”.

He continued: “I can safely say that for the past five years, I’ve kind of felt myself approaching 30 and thinking ‘I really hope that I can have kids’”. “So much so, that I have gone and taken a fertility test”.
He then revealed: “I’m very fortunate to say that I can have kids [as a result of the fertility test]” Speaking about telling his friends about having the fertility tests he said: “But that conversation alone – going to the pub and saying to your mates "I’m actually going to go and get my sperm count checked" – I was shocked at how many of my mates wanted to do that.” He said many of his mates said: “Oh, I’ve actually really wanted to do that - shall we all just go as a group and do it?” As the Loose Men panel discussed the topic of men’s biological clocks, Roman said: “I do think that men do worry about it and rightly so.
