The Mirror reports that United would have to pay £40million for Abraham this summer, and that his current club "believe he will return to the Premier League".
Former Chelsea striker Abraham has scored 36 times in 100 appearances for Jose Mourinho's side. The report adds that while Chelsea do have a buyback clause on the forward, it is unlikely they will move for him due to the size of their squad.
Elsewhere, BILD journalist Christian Falk reports that United are "still interested" in signing goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
