Rod Stewart serenaded fans with a special love song for Valentine's Day, but the rock star divided fans in the comments.
Rod sang his 1977 hit 'You're In My Heart' on TikTok and many followers were left cringing over what should have been a sweet video.
The Do Ya Think I'm Sexy singer is a huge Celtic FC fan and recently chartered a private jet to take him and his sons to see the Celtic and Rangers game.
The 77-year-old captioned his Valentines video: "Happy Valentine's Day to you TikTok creators!
"I'd love to hear you duet with me."
However, despite the thoughtful sentiment behind the Maggie May singer's video, some fans were less than impressed.
One user wrote: "Time to gracefully give it up now mate and enjoy lounging around"
"Give it up now Roddy boy, way past it noo," said another.
Another concerned fan said: "Rod I think you're the best but slow down and appreciate what you have."
Someone else quipped: "I think he's best left in my memory, that's a wee bit embarrassing."
But, thankfully not all fans felt the same way.
One commented: "Why do people have to be mean. This man has accomplished more than all the Karen's on here put together. You're awesome Rod!"
Another gushed: "Yours is one of my favourite TikTok accounts. Thank you for letting us into your home and being personal with us."
"Keep on rocking for ever, heart of gold" another fan buzzed.
Someone else shared a touching tribute: "Rod you brought lots of smiles to my now late wife Anne's face over the years. Now you just put a smile on a sad one, mine."
Another penned: "Just what I needed to hear on this special day for Valentines is just so lonely for me. Thanks, happy vacation day back to you."
Sir Rod admitted last year he needed to be 'careful' around performing

Todd Spangler NY Digital EditorTikTok is again cranking up the maximum length of videos users can upload to the platform — more than tripling it, to 10 minutes.TikTok, owned by Chinese internet conglomerate ByteDance, is moving to let creators make longer-form videos as rivals like YouTube, Facebook and Instagram have aggressively built out their own TikTok-like short-form video features.TikTok’s expansion to allow up to 10-minute videos comes less than a year after it raised the maximum length of videos to three minutes in July 2021 (up from 60 seconds before). One of the reasons TikTok has become massively popular — with more than 1 billion monthly active users — is that it provides an auto-generated feed of entertaining, bite-size short videos of under a minute, algorithmically tailored to users’ interests. It’s not clear how many TikTokers will take advantage of the longer-form videos but the change clearly shows that the company is eager to facilitate ways to keep viewers in the app for longer periods of time.
