Rod Stewart has joked he could soon be called up Scotland after performing an impressive workout in his Celtic tracksuit on a recent trip to France.
Maggie May singer Sir Rod couldn't resist showing fans his fitness levels as he ran up and down in his back garden.
Rod, who can't wait to get back on the road again, did a bleep test while at the plush holiday pad with wife Penny Lancaster.
Rod told fans: "After a knee replacement and angle fusion surgery, at 77 I'm back to top fitness in preparation for my long awaited tour dates - and maybe a call up Scotland!!!
"Full speed ahead bring on the tour!!!"
Sir Rod, who became sightly breathless from the exercise, also said at the end of the rigorous training regime: "That's enough."
He then smiled and looked at the camera: "Level five,15-metre bleep test. Not bad for 77."
And he held his arms in the air with joy.
Fans were impressed as one said: "Great news Rod. Prayers that you continue to heal and be well. Am impressed of your recovery too."
Another added: "Absolutely amazing keep up the amazing work hope to see you in Scotland."
