Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster looked glam as they attended the wedding of Rod’s son Liam to Nicole Artukovich in Croatia on Friday, 31 May. Rod and Penny, who recently enjoyed a day out at a charity football match, were joined by guests including the 79 year old singer’s second wife, and Liam’s mum, model Rachel Hunter. For the occasion, 53 year old Penny looked sensational as she sported a stunning lilac maxi dress which featured a thigh split.
The trendy dress also featured a sweetheart neckline which was decorated with a statement bow and thin shoulder straps.
To accessorise the look, the TV personality carried a structured white shoulder bag and wore some gold strappy heeled sandals as well as some statement earrings.
Matching Penny’s look, Maggie May singer Rod opted for a metallic lilac suit which he wore with a cream coloured waistcoat, white shirt and grey tie. For the wedding occasion, he also wore a cream boutonnière on his jacket. Meanwhile, Rachel looked radiant in a teal satin halterneck gown which she paired with a stack of gold bracelets and a chic updo.
Rod, who has eight children and has been married three times, tied the knot to Penny in 2007 and they share two sons together - Alastair, 18, and Aiden, 13 - who were also there to watch Liam say ‘I do’. Over the years, Penny has opened up about her relationship with Rod’s ex-wife Rachel and during an episode of Loose Women in 2017 she revealed that they’d gotten over any tension and had realised that they shared some commonalities. “Rachel and I, over the years, we’ve grown up and both have a lot more in common now.
