Love Island star Samantha Kenny has reunited with her family as she landed back in the UK after Tuesday night’s (18 June) brutal villa dumping.
The makeup artist’s shock exit came after a recoupling in which bombshells Grace Jackson, Tiffany Leighton and Wil Anderson had first picks. Grace decided to couple up with former flame Joey Essex, leaving Samantha single and dumped from the Island. It hadn’t been an easy ride for Samantha since Grace’s arrival, as it was clear there was still history between the pair, who didn’t hold back on the PDA.
Samantha has now returned to the UK, sharing a video of herself tearfully reuniting with her family, crying and hugging them as she arrived back home. She’s been flooded with tons of support on social media with how she handled the situation, and she’s now issued a statement to thank fans. “I have no words for how I’m feeling right now,” she wrote over a picture of herself on the ITV2 show on her Instagram story.
“I am blown away by all your kind words and support.” “I see them all and they haven’t gone unnoticed,” she continued. “I was true to myself since day 1 and I will continue to be,” the star concluded. Later on, Samantha shared the video of fellow Islanders including Nicole Samuel crying during her exit, as she wrote: “Obsessed with my girls!! Rooting for you all so so much, best thing to come out of my experience is the friends that I have made.” As well as her friends in the villa, Sam has had the constant support from her family outside, as her sister issued a statement after she was left in tears following Grace and Joey’s kiss earlier this week.
“No one makes my little Sam cry,” she wrote on Instagram. “Proud beyond belief of how strong you are my love. Keep telling them
