Rochelle Humes has said that she wishes she presented more on ITV’s This Morning. In an exclusive chat with OK!, the former The Saturdays singer explained: "I wish I had time to be there a bit more - it's exactly what you would want it to be as a fan of the show. It’s the nicest team – it’s a big family." Rochelle, who has presented regularly on the popular morning programme since 2018 said that there were many perks to her job, admitting that she works with the "nicest" team and feels "lucky" to have the job.
"I’ve always felt lucky to be a part of it. We’re all friends, it’s a nice set-up. I remember when I first got the phone call [from ITV] just after Marv and I got married.
My mum had all her friends over the first morning I was on it. "It was the biggest deal, and it still continues to be." She continued: "And what’s not to love? You get to eat twice on the show, normally try a cocktail or two, try a bit of fashion, watch somebody sing, talk to interesting people, it’s incredible!" Rochelle has previously spoken out against rumours that she doesn’t get on with co-presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby. She told OK! in 2020: "It’s so silly.
I don’t understand where it’s coming from. I speak as I find and I’ve honestly had such a lovely time there. "When Holly was in the jungle and I was filling in for three months with Phil, I owe a lot of what I learnt to that guy." However, despite now having her presenting gig, a successful pop career behind her, and marrying Marvin Humes in 2012, the 33-year-old hasn’t always had it easy.
