Robert Cormier, one of the stars on the long-running drama series Heartland, tragically died at the age of 33 last week and now, details about his death have been released.
His sister Stephanie released the information, as well as a family statement about the tragedy.

“Robbie passed away as the result of a tragic accident,” the family’s statement read. “The family of Robbie Cormier would like to thank everyone that has reached out for all their love and support,” it said. “Our family would like to thank everyone at the Critical Care team in Toronto for their compassionate care they provided Robbie and the kindness they showed our family. We will be forever grateful.”
In addition, Stephanie reportedly told Robert‘s talent agent’s office that he “died in the hospital of injuries he sustained in a fall,” NBC News reports.
Robert‘s final episodes of Heartland will air during the upcoming season 16 on the CBC. RIP.
